BACKGROUND
BackoftheNetfc have been running quality soccer schools throughout Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes since April 2004.
All our coaches hold the UEFA B or A coaching licence (Level 3 or 4) in football. They are also members of FACA the Football Association Coaches Association. To qualify as a member of FACA you have to be a qualified football coach and hold a current CRB check, emergency first aid and child protection certificate.
Our team of coaches are current or ex-professional players who have also coached professionally which enables them to pass on their wealth of playing experience to children who want to improve there game.
Since we started in 2004 we have coached over 30,000 five – fifteen year old children across the region at our soccer schools and advanced centres.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
- Northampton School for Boys become Daily Telegraph sports school of the year 2006 with the help of our specialised schools coaching.
- We have developed many talented footballers in our advanced centres by improving them mentally, tactically, physically and technically. In the last three years from our advanced centres 3 boys have signed for Premiership Academy’s and over 30 others have signed Centre of Excellence forms at professional clubs.
- Implemented the (PYDS) Progressive Youth Development System for Northampton Town Football Club. The system now provides a pathway for players from beginners to elite talent to progress into the Centre of Excellence.
- We now deliver curriculum time sessions to over 100 schools across the county. The activities we deliver are Football, Fundamentals of movement / "Multi-skills", SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness), sports leaders award, athletics, basketball, gymnastics, cricket, hockey, netball, tennis, rugby, rounders, archery, rowing concept 2 and extreme golf.
