We Specialise in Primary and Secondary School Coaching

Our coaches are current, semi-professional or ex-athletes. They are all current members of the FACA (FA Coaches Association) and have a registered number for any school's reference. To be a member of the FACA you must have an up-to-date CRB check, emergency first aid certificate, and child protection certificate. We only use Level 2 or above coaches for the sports listed below.

PLEASE NOTE: We will provide each school with a development  programme and session plan for the activity we will be coaching. We will guide teachers through our activity sessions, as we feel it is important for the teachers to be competent enough to recreate the session for the class in future.

Sports we offer include: Fundamentals of movement / "Multi-skills", SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness), sports leaders award, football, athletics, basketball, gymnastics, cricket, hockey, netball, tennis, rugby, rounders, archery, rowing concept 2 and extreme golf.

Match day experience

Our match day experience is a great day out for the children. It provides an opportunity to watch a game at the fantastic Emirates stadium. NOTE: The match day experience is only available to schools we are working with.

Northampton School for Boys (NSB) were awarded the "Daily Telegraph School of the Year Sports Award for 2006".

One factor in NSB achieving this award was the work BackoftheNetfc implemented along with the PE staff (Jamie Wilcock, Craig Armstrong & John Taplin) in supporting a structured football programme for the pupils at the school. BackoftheNetfc were asked by the PE staff to work alongside and assist in football sessions for NSB. In September 2007 NSB started a Football Academy within the school; as with all sport at NSB the staff are always looking to give their pupils the best opportunity to improve. Jon Brady (Head Coach, BackoftheNetfc) said, "I have worked with a lot of staff at many schools, also with professional footballers and coaches, and I have never seen a PE staff who have more experience, knowledge, drive and ambition to succeed for the school and the pupils' benefit."
